You won’t always be playing your A-game. You can’t always be firing on all cylinders. You’re definitely going to make mistakes. You’re sometimes going to be down, sometimes tired, sometimes scared. It doesn’t matter. There’s no point stressing about it. Just show up.

Get yourself out of bed, slap some cold water on your face, get outside and get going. The world’s not going to go away, no matter how long you hide under your duvet. You work isn’t going to get itself done – it’ll simply be waiting there for you.

You choose what you want to do, but you still have to show up and actually do it.
